Oahu to Vegas: On a Mission

Eric Carlson with the hosts of the Solar Coaster podcast

In the bustling city of Las Vegas, amidst the shimmering lights of the famous Strip, something extraordinary was taking place. Last week, our co-founders, Josh Powell, and Eric Carlson of RevoluSun embarked on a mission that would bring us one step closer to illuminating lives in Maui.

Destination: the solar industry’s largest trade show of the year.

Purpose: to secure commitments and raise awareness for Project Empower's relief efforts in Maui.

Josh Powell, our co-founder and CEO, engaged with several module and battery manufacturers, carrying the hopes and dreams of Maui residents in his heart. We're thrilled to report that his requests were met with open arms, and we eagerly await the outcome of these promising conversations.

Meanwhile, Eric Carlson, co-founder and CIO of RevoluSun, was on a mission to shine a spotlight on the people of Maui and the incredible work Project Empower is doing. He sat down with writers from Solar Power World to share the story of the Lahaina Wildfires and the vital role solar contractors play in relief efforts. Eric also had the opportunity to record a podcast on the Solar Coaster, where he discussed Project Empower and the Ohana Hope Village project. We'll be sure to share both the article and podcast on our website as soon as they are released.
